The Panasonic TH-50PZ700U, 1080p Plasma TV was rated the best plasma flat screen TV ever by Consumer Reports. 

Consumer Reports will be releasing new reviews of Plasma and LCD TVs that have been throughly tested by the magazine. Consumer Reports tested over 150 TVs and have taken into account the picture, sound, ease-of use, menus and annual product reliability survey. They have crowned a winner and it is the Pansanoic TH-50PZ700U. This is a 1080p Plasma TV manufactured by Panasonic and has "...reproduced the finest detail, rich vibrant colors and deep blacks that lent an almost three-dimensional look to images." This is quoted from a consumer reports press release about their current findings. 

The Pansanoic TH-50PZ700U scored excellent in HD, DVD and standard definiton picture quality. The report will come out tomorrow at newstands everywhere.
